Alpha Kappa Alpha Day Declared in Hoffman Estates

Chi Alpha Omega Chapter continued a tradition in partnership with the Village of Hoffman Estates by honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Chi Alpha Omega Chapter has partnered with the Village of Hoffman Estates since 2003 in the observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This year, Chi Alpha Omega Chapter supported the community food drive and seasonal wraps initiatives. William D. McLeod, Mayor of the Village of Hoffman Estates, honored Chi Alpha Omega Chapter members for their commitment in ensuring the legacy of Dr. King lives on with a proclamation declaring that Tuesday, January 17, 2017 is Alpha Kappa Alpha Day in the Village of Hoffman Estates.
