We are proud to offer scholarship opportunities for high school seniors in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Applicants are asked to complete a scholarship application along with a written essay expressing why you should receive one of our scholarships...

Greetings from the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Chi Alpha Omega Chapter and welcome to our website where you can learn more about our chapter, programs, and events. 

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is the first Greek-letter sorority established and incorporated by African American college women.  The sorority was founded on January 15, 1908, at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Chi Alpha Omega Chapter was chartered on April 14, 2002, in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, IL.  Since that time, our talented, dedicated, visionary and diverse membership has carried on the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. tradition of providing “Supreme Service to All Mankind”. 

In 2023 and 2024, Chi Alpha Omega will continue its work executing the International Program Initiatives, Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood of International President & CEO, Danette Anthony Reed. We will deliver programs that address childhood hunger in our local community; raise awareness of mental health challenges and resources; uplift the community; promote economic wealth, financial wellness and entrepreneurship....
