On behalf of the dedicated members of Chi Alpha Omega, I am honored to invite you to explore who we are and the impactful service we proudly deliver in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Chartered on April 14, 2002, our chapter has remained steadfast in upholding the mission of our beloved sisterhood, to provide Service to All Mankind.

As members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, the first Greek-letter organization established by African American college women on January 15, 1908, at Howard University, we are committed to advancing a legacy of excellence, sisterhood, and service that spans over a century.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Chi Alpha Omega is actively engaged in executing the 2022–2026 International Program Initiatives under the leadership of our International President & CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, and her visionary platform: Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood.

Locally, our chapter theme ELEVATION reflects our commitment to rise higher in all we do — deepening our impact, broadening our reach, and uplifting our community. Through this lens, we are proud to lead initiatives such as:

• Youth Leadership Institute (YLI): Equipping the next generation of leaders with confidence, character, and critical thinking skills.

• CHIPP (Childhood Hunger Initiative Power Packs): Addressing food insecurity by providing nutritious weekend and holiday meals to children in need.

• Supporting Women Entrepreneurs & Black-Owned Businesses: Amplifying economic equity by spotlighting and supporting local businesswomen and Black-owned ventures.

• Tree Planting & Environmental Stewardship: Promoting sustainability and protecting our planet through local tree plantings and green initiatives.

• Mental Health Awareness: Hosting events and providing resources to break the stigma and promote holistic wellness in our communities.

• XAO Mommy Kits: Offering comfort and essential care items to expectant mothers and families in need.

• Social Justice Advocacy: Standing boldly for equity, empowerment, and civil rights through education, awareness, and action.
