Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is dedicated to implementing programs of service that enhance the social, economic, and educational well-being of the local, national and international communities. Programs remain the heart of AKA. The size and scope of services provided to our communities have grown and significantly improve the quality of life for all who reside within our service areas.
 
The program theme for 2022-2026 is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood. The International Program includes five program initiatives that are designed to advance the mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha with excellence and underscore our commitment to sustainable service.
 
Each chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha across the United States and internationally will implement these program initiatives in the communities they serve. Chi Alpha Omega Chapter serves the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.
 
This administration has six initiatives. Strengthen Our Sisterhood will serve as the administration’s “Foundation Initiative” as we strengthen our bonds to support our service mission. The remaining five initiatives will serve as the “Program Initiatives” which include:

These initiatives are designed to improve the lives of those we serve. We will work collaboratively to maximize our outreach on progressive endeavors and consistently produce leaders who will advance our credo of service.
